More information for the book release is on the Facebook event here.

“Join us Saturday, June 26th, for the book launch of the Repentance of the Southern Burden, complete with a meet & greet with the author, JR (Joshua) Gray-Heim.

In addition to being a published author, Joshua is owner of J. Co Salon in Downtown Fayetteville. Please join us to celebrate the release, snap some photos, and get to know Joshua. Stickers with all of his fabulous catchphrases will also be for sale!

Joshua has lived through the balancing act between Southern religious obligations and self-acceptance. While the book itself is fiction, it is a depiction of the real-life emotion, feeling, and fear of having a relationship with a higher power and coming to terms with your unknown sexuality.

Joshua’s biggest desire in life is to create a sense of connection and belonging for everyone he encounters and for those who read his story. As he loves to tell folks, “You only get one life; make it count. Trust me, honey, you got this.”
Please join us this Saturday to connect with Joshua and support one of Downtown Fayetteville’s serial entrepreneurs.
